Composition:
Each 100 gm contains:
Streptomycin sulphate 100 gm
(Eq. to streptomycin base 80 gm)
Indications:
For treatment of bacterial diarrhea.
Dosage & administration:
Route of administration: orally via drinking water.
Dose of active ingredient:
10-30 mg of Streptomycin /kg. b.wt.
For whole product:
0.625 - 1.875 gm of product /50 kg. b.wt. If symptoms do not improve after
3 to 4 days discontinue use.
When using this drug, administration should be limited to the minimum
period necessary for treatment, and continuous administration for more
than a week should not be performed.
